FDM assemblies can be used to mimic injection molding ABS plastic parts or sacrificed for investment casting, as well as the possibility of use as final production parts in small quantities. FDM can produce multiple ABS parts of a single color that can in turn be used with multiple builds to create multi-colored assemblies.
